Accessibility

Accessibility is a right, not a feature.

We work on disability inclusion. A website that excludes people would make that claim worthless, so here is exactly where we stand — including what is not yet good enough.

What we have done

Every function can be reached with a keyboard, and the focus outline is visible.
Text and background colours are chosen for contrast, and text scales when you zoom.
Images that carry meaning have alternative text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
Headings follow a logical order, and the page works with JavaScript disabled for reading.
All motion, including the beating heart on the entry screen, stops if your system requests reduced motion.
The entry screen can be skipped with the Escape key and does not trap keyboard users.

Where we fall short

We aim at WCAG 2.1 level AA and do not claim to meet it fully. Known gaps: some PDF documents are not tagged for screen readers; a few images still need better alternative text; and the site has not yet been tested with users who rely on assistive technology, which is the test that actually counts.

If a document you need is not accessible, write to us and we will send the content in a form you can use.

Write to service@maroufadeyemi.org with the page and what went wrong. We treat accessibility reports as priority work, not as feedback.

If we do not resolve it, you can contact the competent enforcement body for accessibility in Brandenburg.
