The rules for using this website, donating and joining. Short, because there is not much to say.

Using this website

By using maroufadeyemi.org you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, gain unauthorised access, submit false information through our forms, or use our name, logo or materials to solicit money on our behalf.

Donations

Donations are voluntary and, as a rule, not refundable, since we commit funds to programmes as they arrive. If you donated in error or an amount was taken incorrectly, write to service@maroufadeyemi.org and we will sort it out.

Donations marked for a specific programme are used for that programme. Where a programme is already fully funded or cannot proceed, we will contact you before using the money elsewhere.

A donation receipt (Zuwendungsbestätigung) is issued on request for any amount, following the official template prescribed by the German Federal Ministry of Finance.

Membership

Membership begins when the board confirms admission and the first contribution is paid. Contributions can be made weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually or for three years, and all options carry the same rights.

You may leave at any time by writing to us. Contributions already paid are not refunded, in line with the Satzung. Rights and duties of members follow the Satzung and German association law (§§ 21–79 BGB).

Content and liability

Text, images and documents on this site belong to us or are used with permission, and may not be reused commercially without our written consent.

We take care that information here is accurate, but we give no warranty that it is complete or current, and we are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of it, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

Payments and forms are handled by third parties (Stripe, PayPal, Formspree). Their own terms apply to those services.

Law and changes

German law applies. We may change these terms; the version published here at the time you use the site is the one that applies.
