Why H.O.P.E. starts with three unglamorous trades
Warehouse logistics, industrial electronics, hotel and restaurant work. Not the trades that sound impressive — the ones where the places are genuinely open.
A programme that prepares people for training places that do not exist is a cruelty with good intentions. We chose these three because employers in Berlin and Brandenburg cannot fill them, the qualifications are recognised, and the route through German law is clear.
Everything about the design is meant to be copied. Nothing requires new legislation or a new legal category, because a method only we can run helps twenty-five people, and a method others can adopt helps thousands.
If you are an employer with an unfilled Ausbildungsplatz in one of those three trades, that is the single most useful thing anyone can offer us right now. It is also the thing we cannot buy.
